Return air grills are used for suction of the air to the air conditioning system. At the blowing side, the fan is connected to plenum box or boxes through flexible ducts. Plenum box obtains a homogeneous air blow through the supply air grills. Therefore, with each supply air grill, a plenum box has to be used.
